Plan International UK is a global children’s charity. We strive to advance children’s rights and equality for girls all over the world.
Working together with children, young people, our supporters and partners, we're tackling the root causes of gender inequality and child poverty, and we are now active in more than 70 countries worldwide.
We are looking for an exceptional Evidence, Learning and Impact (ELI) Specialist to significantly contribute to Plan International UK’s programme effectiveness by strengthening the monitoring, evaluation, accountability & learning (MEAL) of our portfolio and by promoting a culture of learning and improvement across the organisation in collaboration with our ELI Manager.
You will need significant experience of working in a technical / advisory role to provide oversight of the MEAL of development and humanitarian projects, and of providing tailored and efficient MEAL advice to colleagues both in the UK and overseas. You will also have experience of developing MEAL guidance, tools and templates to support your colleagues in the MEAL elements of bid development and project management. Key to your success in this role will be your extensive experience of common methodologies and processes for project planning, and your experience of quantitative, qualitative, participatory, innovative, and gender-sensitive data collection methodologies and approaches. You will also have substantial experience of developing and implementing project monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
As an ELI Specialist with a varied and demanding workload, you will be able to demonstrate effective time management to accomplish tasks more effectively in an often fast-paced working environment. Strong and tailored communication skills are essential as they will play an important part of your daily activities.
